Astrid Pill

 

Astrid Pill is a performer/theatre maker who has worked with numerous companies and collaborators spanning a 20 year career in the performing arts.

She has worked with numerous arts companies including Restless Dance Theatre and Patch Theatre Company and has a 20-year collaborative relationship with Ingrid Voorendt and Zoe Barry. She has worked with Brand X, Yashchin Ensemble, The Border Project, Maude Davey, Vitalstatistix, Ingrid Voorendt, Ladykillers, Daisy Brown/Cabaret Festival, Windmill and State Theatre SA/Brink.

She sang for The New Pollutants re-score of Metropolis, touring major venues and film festivals. She has won many awards including an Adelaide Critics Circle Award for Cake, which she wrote, toured and adapted for ABC’s airplay and an Arts SA Emerging Artist Award, which enabled her to study voice and physical theatre in Europe.​
