New New Fire Island

Second Hand Emotions is a process-driven, queer and discursive project responding to the provocation of ‘love and feminism’, the theme of Fontanelle’s keynote exhibition during FRAN.

LARTELARE is a place-responsive work-in-progress installation, created by the Kaurna Women’s Art Collective, through acts of gentle resistance. Grounded in care and respect, Aboriginal women connected to Port Adelaide will come together over 2023 to share story and map their country to create a body of work that is an intentional interruption of colonial narrative. These stories will inform a multi-disciplinary installation, for premiere at the Waterside Workers Hall, as part of the larger body of work the women will share across Port Adelaide during Tarnanthi Festival.

Progress Report is a new solo dance performance about consumerism and waste. The work puts real world, every day decisions under the microscope to reveal seemingly contradictory, at times hilarious and often unbearable truths.
