About the Artist

Georgia Oatley:
Georgia Oatley practises as a musician, broadcaster and educator working on Kaurna land. Making use of her broad skills in electronic composition and utilising their voice, her sound circles many influences from the avant-garde, electronica, traditional folk, and hip-hop.

Pest Control:
Take feminine rage and add a bunch of shitty experiences with the patriarchy, heartbreak, relationships, addiction, mental health and you have Pest Control.

Manic Pixie Dream Girls they are not – instead try fever dream femme punk.

Mondo Psycho:

The sound of Mondo Psycho is the musical brutalism of Post-Punk underscored by the dread and dissonance of horror cinema. The stage show evokes a live phantasmagoria, with a wave of visceral vocal rage washing over a bedrock of pulsing synths and grinding guitars. Helmed by celebrated vocalist Carla Lippis, whose dynamic performances range from hushed incantations to screams of vengeance, the MONDO PSYCHO live experience is both bludgeoning and exhilarating.

“Think of an amalgam of Black Sabbath (on acid), Diamanda Galas, Concrete Blonde, Tropical F*ck Storm and Tomahawk.” – American Pancake
