Who are we looking for?

We are interested in hearing from South Australian-based emerging/early career artists, curators and programmers. You can define early career for yourself; you may be in the first five to ten years of your career or you may be an artist who is newly branching into curatorial and programming fields.

Ideally you will have attended Adhocracy in the past however this is not essential for applying.

You will have a knowledge of and desire to work with Vitalstatistix; and will be able to identify what you would like to bring to and receive from this experience.

Women, trans, non-binary, queer and First Nations people are encouraged to apply.

Key information

The selected curator will be notified by May 31st and needs to be available to read Adhocracy applications over the following fortnight. Applicants should also leave Monday 10th June aside for an all-day meeting.

The curator will have a range of opportunities to participate in Adhocracy, 5th-8th September. They will also be invited to attend the national experimental arts exchange to be held on 3rd and 4th September.
