Jennifer is a dynamic creative leader working across multiple artforms as a producer, curator, and DJ. In August 2024 she was appointed as Vitalstatistix’s eighth Artistic Director following a long-standing relationship with the organisation with roles as Creative Producer (2024), Executive Producer (2021–22), General Manager/CEO (2009–11), documenter and artist.
As a producer, Jennifer worked with Branch Nebula (Sydney), Karul Projects (Gold Coast) and Blacktown Arts (Sydney). She was part of the curatorial team at Sydney WorldPride and was the Creative Producer of Zephyr Quartet. Alongside her work with small organisations, Jennifer has been embedded in the independent arts sector for over two decades, collaborating with artists across the world. In her early career, she worked in leadership roles at Feast Festival, Adelaide Fringe, Adelaide Film Festival, Darwin Festival and was one of the co-founders of the Festival of Unpopular Culture. Her performance work has featured in Singapore Design Week and LiveDreams presented by Performance Space.
Jennifer has served on the Boards of YWCA Australia, Renew Adelaide, and ActNow Theatre. In a moment of deviation from her career in the arts, she worked in State politics for independent and minor parties with representatives in both Houses of Parliament.
Jennifer is one half of BadJelly DJs who have been playing records in the underground party scene for the last decade, co-curating club nights such as BonaDrag, Vaginyl and Goth Disco.
