Danielle Lim
Engagement Coordinator
Danielle is an award-winning Malaysian-Australian actor, writer, theatre maker and producer who graduated from Flinders Drama Centre in 2021. She has performed independently and worked with various arts companies, including ActNow Theatre, State Theatre Company South Australia, Windmill Theatre, South Australian Playwrights Theatre, Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, Infinity Ensemble (Melbourne) and DreamBIG Festival. She is passionate about championing Asian-Australian stories on stage and screen, hoping to inspire more Asian-Australians to pursue an arts career.
In 2025, Danielle was the recipient of the ActNow Theatre MakeSpace x Adelaide Fringe Residency, for which she developed and premiered her second multi-disciplinary solo work, The Good Decisions Project. Most recently, she toured her first solo show, Caught In Between, to Melbourne Fringe and Sydney Fringe, where it was shortlisted for Best in Theatre.
As a producer and arts worker, Danielle has worked with both local and interstate arts companies, including ActNow Theatre, Contemporary Asian Australian Performance, Australian Plays Transform, and OzAsia Festival.
Danielle joined the Vitals team in January 2025 in the role of Engagement Coordinator and contributes to program coordination, artist liaison, funding, events and partnerships.
