STEP INSIDE A 24-HOUR LIVE PERFORMANCE AND CINEMA SPECTACLE AT THE 2019 ADELAIDE FESTIVAL
The Second Woman is an acclaimed theatre event which involves a performer repeating one scene, inspired by the 1977 John Cassavetes film Opening Night, over and over for twenty-four hours. 100 men, drawn from the South Australian community, will star across from her over the course of the performance. Vitalstatistix are seeking a diverse range of male participants to perform opposite Nat Randall in The Second Woman.
All ages and backgrounds are welcome; no performing experience is required – non-performers are encouraged to apply.

Date and Time: 4pm Sunday 10th March – 4pm Monday 11th March, 2019
Duration: Each encounter lasts for 10 – 20 minutes
Venue: Space Theatre, Adelaide Festival Centre
Fee: Each participant will receive an honorarium of $50
Following your registration, you will be contacted in February to confirm your involvement. Upon confirmation you will be sent an information pack including the short scripted scene, a waiver form and more details of the performance. The waiver form will also be available for signing on the day, prior to participating, so you need only to bring yourself.
