Welcome to Vitalstatistix’s 2018 program of residencies, labs, performance and events.
This year includes the culmination of our five-year climate change program, Climate Century, with a major public program of new works at Waterside, Hart’s Mill and the Port riverfront.
Adhocracy returns alongside our annual Adhocracy residency initiative. This year’s project Kinstillatory Mappings in Light and Dark Matter, presented in association with Critical Path, sees our first international artist to lead this opportunity for artists. Applications for both Adhocracy and the residency will open in April.
We also commence a two-year partnership with feminist theatre company THE RABBLE, with our presentation of their astounding work JOAN. This is the first time THE RABBLE have performed in South Australia, with a work that could not be more timely. We are also thrilled to present Eyes, an audio performance about the end of the world, by much loved South Australian artists Sandpit.
We welcome three incredible women and their projects to Vitals through our residency programs. And there is plenty more artist opportunities and new announcements to come throughout the year.
